Who We Are

We are Amber Yorke (the ‘YO’ in YOMA), and Nick Marriott (The ‘MA’).

Amber is the architect of the team, able to help you pinpoint your key project aspirations so we can work together to develop architectural designs that fit your vision, needs and budget.

Nick brings in the engineering and construction expertise, developing architectural concepts into detailed packages of design and construction information ready for builders to cost and deliver the project on-site.

Whilst we each bring our own unique skill sets to the team, our working partnership is very much an integrated and collaborative process. 

Construction practicalities are considered at the earliest design stages, and good architectural detailing is still being refined during the production of construction information to ensure we are creating projects that not only deliver the best value for the client but look beautiful too!

We’re also a partnership in life, sharing a home and daughter. This intimate level of knowing each other has allowed us to foster an incredibly strong working relationship. We share a deep level of honesty and trust in our design process and have the benefit of knowing each other’s capabilities at an intimate level so we can continually draw the best out of each other.

As people, we share a passion for the great outdoors, and outside working hours will most likely be found out exploring the natural beauty of our beloved North Wales.
